What Qualification Will You Get?

This two day course qualifies you as a Mental Health First Aider – an internationally recognised qualification awarded by MHFA England and accredited by the Royal Society for Public Health.

Where is the Course Based?

This course is based in a 4 star country hotel on the edge of Dartmoor set within 9 acres of picturesque moorland gardens. The location is just 20minutes from the centre of Plymouth. Although it is on Dartmoor it is still possible to  access the hotel by public transport. So this is your chance to escape the city for two days! If you would like to make it a complete break away, there are also specially discounted room rates available to you.

Tea, coffee and refreshments will be available throughout the day, and lunch is also included. The hotel restaurant has been awarded the AA Rosette Award for Culinary Excellence (so you should be in for a treat).

Not only is this a beautiful location, we also work with a maximum of 16 people, ensuring you have the time and attention to really learn and refine your skills and knowledge.

The course costs £295 per person. This includes teas, coffees, refreshments, and lunch. In addition to that, you will receive a comprehensive Mental Health Manual, a Line Manager’s Guidance Manual (if applicable) and of course your training certification. Discounts are also available for multiple bookings.

"I would like to send my thanks from my colleagues who attended your course yesterday. The feedback given was very positive, with the course being presented in a relaxed way which encouraged participants to take part and really get involved. They found the course was very detailed and informative. One in particular described his experience as 'life changing' and felt he has come away with a whole new approach toward looking at how people behave and how he could approach colleagues if he had concerns they may be struggling with mental health issues. The resources they came away with were also helpful for further reading and understanding. Once again, many thanks for providing a positive experience for our colleagues."

"Excellent course. Thanks so much for having us. Everyone should do this. Educating ourselves about mental health is vitally important and if the entire population invested their time in increasing their knowledge in this area, the world would be in a much better, happier and healthier place."

"I recently attended a two day Mental Health First Aider course run by Sky Bounders in Plymouth. The course was brilliantly put together and very sensitively delivered by Louise. There was a really good balance of push and pull in the presentation and the content was suitable for visual, audio and kinaesthetic learners alike. There had clearly been a lot of thought put in to the environment and overall experience for delegates, which was particularly important for a course which covered a lot of intense subjects in a short period of time. We felt able to share our personal and professional experiences of mental health to learn from each other. I came away inspired to champion mental health and well being in our company and also armed with some pointers for my own self care, too."

"Just a quick email to say a massive genuine thank you for the two days of MHFA. A genuinely amazing syllabus on a hugely important subject that i think is integral in today's society. I left your course very inspired, incredibly humbled and if honest quite moved. The course and subject is awesome but like any course only as good as the person delivering it, you are such a good person and you have a natural ability to lead and inspire. I feel like a better person in so many ways for attending and learning. Thank you."
